On 16 February 2026, the Hellenic-Albanian Industrial, Commercial & Professional Association successfully held its Annual Institutional Event in Voula, bringing together representatives from the business, political, and institutional sectors in an atmosphere of cooperation, dialogue, and shared commitment to strengthening Greek-Albanian relations.
The event took place at the “Ionia” Hall of the Municipality of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni, highlighting the Association’s continuous efforts to create meaningful connections between businesses, institutions, and professionals from Greece and Albania.

The event was coordinated by Ms. Maria Themeli, Strategic Communication Consultant, who contributed to the successful organization and highlighted the importance of strategic communication and extroversion in achieving the Association’s objectives.
The event was opened by the President of the Hellenic-Albanian Industrial, Commercial & Professional Association, CEO of RUMMING Group, and CEO of ASTRIT Development, Mr. Panagiotis K. Rumis.
Mr. Roumis expressed his sincere appreciation to the Members and Partners of the Association for their continuous support, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening economic and business relations between Greece and Albania.


Following the opening remarks, the Mayor of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni, Mr. Grigoris Konstantellos, addressed the audience, highlighting the strategic importance of bilateral relations and the new opportunities emerging through closer cooperation between the two countries.
The Association expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. Konstantellos for his hospitality and continuous support towards initiatives promoting Greek-Albanian cooperation.

The event was also honored by the presence of Mr. Mariatontis Politis, representative of Mr. Andreas Loverdos, who conveyed his warm greetings and emphasized the importance of institutional cooperation as a pillar of stability and progress in an increasingly interconnected international environment.
In the same context, Mr. Ioannis Mathios, Chairman of the Board and CEO of MATHIOS REFRACTORIES S.A., and a long-standing partner of Mr. Rumis, shared his insights on the development of Greek-Albanian entrepreneurship, highlighting Albania’s growing importance as a strategic market for Greek exports.

The Association extends its sincere thanks to all distinguished guests who attended and supported the event, including Ms. Sofia Voultepsi, Mr. Marios Belimpasakis, Mr. Vasilis Skronias, Mr. Ioannis Triantafyllou, as well as all representatives of the business and institutional community who contributed to the success of the evening.
The Annual Institutional Event also included the traditional New Year’s Cake Cutting Ceremony of the Hellenic-Albanian Industrial, Commercial & Professional Association, marking the beginning of a new year filled with opportunities for cooperation, growth, and further development of bilateral relations.
The successful organization of the event reflects the Association’s ongoing commitment to creating a strong platform for dialogue, partnership, and strategic collaboration between Greece and Albania.
