One of the core missions of the Hellenic-Albanian Industrial, Commercial & Professional Association is to promote dialogue, strengthen bilateral business relations, and encourage entrepreneurship between Greece and Albania.
In this context, the Association’s President, Mr. Panagiotis K. Rumis, participated in an interview with Naftemporiki, where he shared valuable insights into entrepreneurship, cross-border cooperation, and the opportunities emerging across the Balkan region.
Throughout the discussion, Mr. Rumis reflected on his entrepreneurial journey, explaining how perseverance, strategic thinking, and innovation led to the creation and growth of the RUMMING Group. His experience illustrates how vision and determination can transform challenges into opportunities, even during periods of economic uncertainty.

A central part of the interview focused on the establishment of the Hellenic-Albanian Industrial, Commercial & Professional Association, founded with the objective of strengthening commercial, industrial, and professional cooperation between Greece and Albania. The Association works to create meaningful connections between businesses, institutions, and investors, while supporting companies seeking to expand their activities across both markets.
Mr. Rumis also highlighted the significant economic growth taking place in Albania, particularly in the construction, tourism, infrastructure, and real estate sectors. These developments create promising opportunities for Greek businesses interested in investing, collaborating, and establishing a stronger presence in the country.
Another important issue addressed during the interview was the growing shortage of skilled professionals across the Balkan region. Sustainable growth, he noted, requires stronger cooperation between governments, educational institutions, and the private sector to develop the workforce needed for the future.
The interview reflects the broader vision of the Association: to serve as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and business development while fostering stronger economic ties between Greece and Albania.
As the Association continues to expand its initiatives, it remains committed to supporting entrepreneurship, encouraging investment, and building long-term partnerships that contribute to the prosperity of both countries.
